Annual promotion 'Half prices'. New policy for changing e-mail. Report on the 'piggy bank'.
Dear users, dear friends!
From 10/10/23 to 20/10/23 there will be a promotion held once a year “Prices for lots in the Donations section - in half”, the proceeds from which will go to pay for the maintenance of the tracker (hosting, colocation), as well as part (if we collect it) will be set aside for the purchase of new SSDs for our server (remaining resource of the current ones: less than a third). Don't miss the opportunity to take advantage of this unique offer for your own benefit and for the benefit of the tracker!
As many people know, since 2020, a number of accounts have been hijacked from many resources, we were no exception (virus software on the user’s side and carelessness: passwords are “unloved” / the same passwords and logins for many resources at the same time). In this regard, there was a ban on changing the e-mail without access to the registration one. However, time makes its own adjustments - some postal services have ceased to exist, others have introduced restrictions on use from a number of countries, etc. It was decided to update the process of making changes to the user account in terms of email. mail. There will be only 2 possibilities for such edits:
1) to the request in the Celeste LAN to change the postal address, users registered before 01/10/23 must provide registration IP accurate to 1 range (for example 87.65.43.*), after 01/10/23 provide the exact registration IP (for example 87.65.43.210). One try and no guessing;
2) purchasing a “VIP-invite” lot (VIP status will be activated for the user) - so as not to force the user to invite himself just for the sake of making changes in the email and other gestures, and also, given that most of the stolen accounts were simply made public in public (without financial obligations of the parties) - we will assume that the method will be effective and at the same time teach you to properly treat the security of your account and listen to the recommendations of our tracker (since the beginning of the resource’s existence, gmail has been recommended for registration, but many simply ignored that in the end - known).
The next quarter of reporting our purchases has been completed.
